Information and Communication Technology

ICT refers to technologies used to create, collect, process, store, retrieve and communicate information. Computers, smartphones, networks and the Internet are examples of ICT technologies.

Computer System

A computer system consists of hardware and software working together to accept input, process data, store information and produce output.

Operating System

An operating system is system software that manages computer hardware and software resources and provides an interface through which users interact with the computer.

Internet

The Internet is a global network of interconnected networks that enables computers and other devices to communicate and exchange information.

Basic Components of a Computer System
