Concept Reminders

Creating a Document

A word processor such as LibreOffice Writer allows users to create, edit, format, save and print text documents.

Editing

Editing changes the content of a document. Common editing operations include selecting, cutting, copying, pasting, deleting, undoing, redoing and finding or replacing text.

Formatting

Formatting changes the appearance and presentation of document content, such as font, size, alignment, spacing, styles and page layout.

Tables

A table organises information into rows and columns. Writer allows users to insert, delete, resize and modify rows and columns.

Mail Merge

Mail Merge combines a common main document with recipient data to produce multiple personalised documents.

Mail Merge Workflow
